Before American Pulps, Matt worked many odd jobs that put him in contact with the lowlifes and derelicts of society as well as some lowlife and derelict politicians and celebrities.

John Borges

John Borges is originally from Florida, which will explain a lot if you ever see him drunk. He was raised by a family of Southerners and Brazilian immigrants, and was brainwashed as a youth by 80’s action films, metal music, and gangster rap. John’s obsession started when he was exposed to Jim Thompson’s writing and Mort Künstler’s art. They became the gateway drugs into his current full-blown pulp addiction.
